On 09.09.10 at 0:56 I just got banned PERMANENTLY.

Reason: I rejoined the game when being last zombie (Helms deep, no chance).

The round before someone else left the game as the last remaining zombie. Due to that I became zombie. This kinda pissed me off. So the next round (became the motherzombie) I didn't worry about simply rejoining when all my minions died and I had no chance at all anymore.

 

Then I got permabanned. I did not spam, insult, cheat, don't have any previous bans for bad behaviour. No warning. Nothing.

 

At first I thought of a ban like 1hr to 1d ... Giving a permanent ban for rejoining a game ONCE without any warning and no previous delicts is really disproportionate, don't you think so?

For me a permanent ban should be the very last consequence in punishing players (when players refuse to change their behaviour and continuously do that actions ignoring warnings; or when players do heavy shit such as hacking or very rude insulting).

 

I just don't get it why I was permabanned for such a simple - moderate action (in relation to permaban-worthy actions like hacking). I agree that such actions should result in a LIMITED ban (I also hate it when players leave just before they get infected ...).

 

So please unban me.

First, you did about 1500 dommage in 5 hit to redbull. Very strange ... you touch the head 4 times to a zombi which fly everywhere because he's shoot from everybody.

Secondly, you disconnect and reconnect while you were the only zombi.

 

That's the two reasons.

Yes, that's what i've done and I already admitted it. As I already told I was pissed off because someone else did the same the round before (but I'm not sure if he reconnected). I'm sorry for that. I won't do that again.

I don't know what I should say to this. If you think I cheated you are wrong, i would never do that. I often use AWP on that map and yes I had some good headies (490+ dmg).

And yes when zombie fly away after awp headie it's hard to hit them, but when they land u can get them. When you say 4 headies * 490 + one none headie (approx. 120) > 1500. So why should this be strange? I think i was just lucky.

 

Honestly, I would never use shit like aimbot etc. Until now I played so many hours on your server and really enjoyed it. Also i really tried to play as a teamplayer and not an asshole (waiting the elevator to start for other ppl, try to delay door closing so other ppl get in, covering and things like that)

 

Even this whole process here confuses me. First unexpected ban, which I explained myself that it was for the reconnect, then the knowlegde that it is permanent and now the cheating charge, so I could never play again on your server. Quite alot in such a short time.

 

Well, that's all I have to say. For me it would be a great pity if my playtime on this server ends that way ...

 

Last but not least, why do u not just simply end the round if the last zombie leaves?

Though one month is still a quite big bitter pill to swallow for a single stupid action, but it's way better than a permanent ban.
